Jeremiah's html practice poem

Life has its
brakes. To go on, you must be bold
Life has its stages, like putting on clothes with new colors. I used to be in a blue suit of clothes. Now I am green in a world that is all colors together, which is white, like this paper.

Christmas Time

On December days,
Mom sweetens the air with her joyful songs. Each day is like a pitcher to be filled. Around Christmas, my mother comes back early from work to fill that pitcher with sweet water full of love and joy to celebrate Christmas.
Christmas sings to us and awakens us from our troubled sleep to enjoy the joys of life.
Christmas brings my family and the whole world together like a magnet. Christmas is that missing piece to finish the puzzle. My empty heart is filled with sweet honey.
I love Christmas Time.

The Earth

The prairies and forests on Earth are like the caring and cheerful part of us. The volcanoes and its lava are the anger and violence in us. The Earth's deserts sigh in solemnity. Its oceans are wise and teach the ground with its waves. Meteorites pummel the Earth like bad influences.
The Earth is wise and resilient. The Earth is caring, but angry. It is solemn, but happy. All these feelings make the Earth.
The Earth is like us with many thoughts and feelings. :):( We must be resilient from the world's meteorites of evil. we must restrain our anger by cooling the lava into rock that is hard on people, but does not erupt in anger. we must be solemn like the deserts, but be cheerful like the prairies and the forests. Be wise like the ocean and shape all these feelings from the water. Be like the Earth.

My Soul Song

Every action, every experience I've had is like a chime playing its own melody. The real me is made up of these chimes.
Before playing, I clean each one, leaving only their beauty and goodness.
Then, I let myself sing, every chime contributing to one harmonious note, the wonderful note of my soul.
All anger, worry, and greed are only heard as rocks going "plunk" as they drop into the water, overpowered by the sound of my chimes.
I let myself be heard across the landscape and echo so my song will never stop. So I will never stop. So I will never lose

myself.

My Improved Nutcracker

I was a nutcracker. Joyful and ignorant, cracking my nuts.
One day I stopped cracking the peanuts of routine and my nutcracker fell absent.
With no nuts to keep the nutcracker in shape, I fell to the wooden floor with a crack.
I, the nutcracker broke apart. I forgot who I was and my broken pieces were like broken feelings shouting at one another and destroying eachother with their vibrations.
I thought fast after the crash and finally found out what to do. I took out some superglue and like love it glued everything together to make myself whole. I used my wisdom to make my body proportionate and added some improvements to make a stronger nutcracker.
Now I eat almonds, and I strive for the coconuts and some more wood, so I will never rot. So I will always be growing stronger.

We Are the Earth

Each one of us are a part of the Earth. Our parents, like plants, let their seeds fall. The very soil is what allows you to thrive, what the dead have given us.
You have come above the soil and now must do your part on Earth.
Do not be like the evil weeds on Earth that kill life to make themselves bigger.
You, like a tree of the Earth, must do your part to serve it.
Give your loving protection, so the birds can build their nests. Try your best to not overshadow your fellow creatures.
In the spring, grow. In summer, provide your shade. In fall, shed the leaves of your old self as gifts to the soil. In winter, sleep in meditation.
When your time is over, be proud of your service to the Earth, which in turn, is a gift to yourself. Be proud of how great a tree you have become.
You are a part of a vast ecosystem.

God Is Here

God is always by your side, calling you to stay close. If you only listen and stay by his side, you will hear her.
Stop looking at your bowl of egotism, and look at the world instead.
Destroy the dam that is blocking your way, and let the water of your soul of goodness flow into the pool of happiness.
God is waiting with open arms. Run up to him and embrace her.

Open Your Petals

Forget Valentine's Day decorating. Remember the meaning of Valentine's Day.
Valentine's Day is like a flower. When people try to decorate a flower too much, the flower is overshadowed, and withers.
Instead, nourish the flower with water, soil, and sunlight.
Be the water for the flower. Be the soil for the flower. Be the sunlight for the flower.
Be the flower of Valentine's Day and grow.

The Dog Can Remember What Water Smells Like

The neighbors are on their way out, and the dog will not stop barking. Never stopping to breathe...the dusty air. Like a baby crying for its Mother, refusing to end his endeavor and forget his owners.
He feels the drought.
